Red Pearl Kitchen Restaurant Review

This is simply the most amazing restaurant in Los Angeles, with a contemporary
Asian cuisine that has all the sensual elements and a happening bar scene,
which will certainly excite all of the gastronomes throughout the entire
Los Angeles for its superb service and magnificent food!

Red Pearl Kitchen without a doubt the most sensual and large place to eat, have fun and entertain yourself, family and friends in Los Angeles. The restaurant is a big departure for Tim Goodell, one of Southern California's most interesting chefs.
At Aubergine in Newport Beach, his first restaurant, he turns out intricate, precisely focused French-California cuisine. He and his wife, Liza, also recently opened
a restaurant in the new Viceroy hotel in Santa Monica called Whist.

The décor at Red Pearl Kitchen is rustic with Chinese tables, and the
restaurant's design is attention grabbing without going over the top.

The bar is very entertaining, serving great drinks, such as martinis, great selection of wine, beers, etc. People eat at the bar, too. Lone diners can also enjoy themselves by drinking and enjoying the food, which in my opinion I would say this is the new Chinois on Main in town, but with affordable prices.

Besides Red Pearl offers an acclaimed fine dining experience to complement your entertainment, they have a great pool table where you can certainly enjoy yourself along with your friends and also there is flat screen televisions that play anything
from Chinese game shows and soap operas to sporting events.

Open nightly until midnight the menu is available for full meals or appetizers.
Their experienced staff also provides in-house catering for private events.

The Chefs at Red Pearl Kitchen can clearly marshal the forces of a kitchen so that even on busy nights the standards of execution never drop. There are sign of
a talented crew at work. Their entire menu is prepared with great care, the
result of hours of preparation reveals a masterful hand with spicy food,
and we all enjoyed very much.

Spicy Lamb Lettuce Wraps

Chicken-Ginger Pot stickers

To start our dinner, of course, we had to try their tempting appetizers, which I can guarantee that you will not go wrong, especially if you love spicy food.

Crab-Pork Spring Rolls

Their menu list is truly large, it goes from Dim Sum, Salads, Skewers, Hot Pot, Noodle & Rice, Wok-Fired, Vegetable and of course desserts which are
called Happy Endings by their pastry Chef.

Shrimp Summer Rolls

First we were served a “special” appetizer created just for our table that contained Miso Shrimp and Kobe Beef, the photo does do justice to the flavor and taste, but take a look you can certainly imagine how delicious this dish was, I have been to
many other Asian places, but like this one, I can’t say that I did.

Korean BBQ Short Ribs

Then we start getting a tremendous selections of their best appetizers such as Chicken-Ginger Pot stickers, Crab-Pork Spring Rolls, Shrimp Summer Rolls, Korean BBQ Short Ribs, Salt & Pepper Shrimp, I must call your attention for this one: Spicy Tuna, Garlic Eggplant; it is simply divine! You have to try it, nothing can describe how deliciously prepared and how amazingly tasting all of our appetizers were. I just can’t put into words the flavors and spices that each appetizers tasted, but I can say that our table was truly happy about each single one.

As far as Hot Pot, we tried the Kobe Beef, Red Curry with Rice Noodles, a
great soup for the winter, hot, spicy and have all the elements to make your
dinner a complete meal.

Kobe Beef Hot Pot                      Pad Thai, with Shrimp and Squid

Their Pad Thai, with Shrimp and Squid, Egg and Tofu is also a not to be missed
item in their menu… I will be back for the Shrimp Bacon Garlic Fried Rice;
I heard it is also fantastic.

Meyer Lemon-Honey Chicken                         Shrimp Dim Sum

In the Wok-Fired items, we tasted the Meyer Lemon-Honey Chicken and the
Ginger-Scallion Sea Scallops, do I need to repeat myself?  If so, yes, all of these
were absolutely unforgettable and made to perfection in taste and presentation.

Another item that I will go back for more is the Miso-Glazed Salmon, I like Salmon, but this one, rocks, I asked for the recipe, but I do not think I can reproduce
the same one at home, I will just go back there for more. I always enjoyed
Salmon, but this one is simply delicious.

Miso-Glazed Salmon,

And if you are vegetarian, or not, this is another item, you can’t miss: Black Pepper Caramel Shrimp, a fantastic dish that I could easily eat every single day of my life, that
I would not get tired.

As far as desserts, they are also to die for, we tried the Chocolate Soufflé Glace, with Coconut Cream and Almond Ice Cream, and the Cardamom Pot de Crème with Banana Fritters… if you have not been in heaven, you will, if you tried these “
Happy Endings”.

At Red Pearl Kitchen the food is not only excellent but also healthy and
prepared by talented Asian Chefs that truly know what they are doing.
